Twitter is all the rage – and the perfect way for stars to give fans instant updates.
For Park Shin Hye – she tweeted a photo of being soaked and covered up with towels. Despite not being dry, she managed to still be quite pretty – bare-faced and all. Dang she got good genes. She's currently starring in Heartstrings.
As for Lee Da Hae, she's still in the throes of filming Miss Ripley. But that doesn't mean the girl can't sleep! She tweeted a photo of her dog snuggling up to her in the early morning. Netizens have already commented that they're absolutely jealous of the puppy getting to cuddle beside a pajama-clad Lee Da Hae.
And let's not forget our new leading man Choi Jin Hyuk. The star, currently in I Need Romance, tweeted a photo of himself in his van, as he waited out the rain. He's trying to give the most arrogant look that he could possibly muster – is it working?
So Ji Sup and Han Hyo Joo will be revealing their latest film “Only You” (directed by Song Il Gon) at the Busan International Film Festival (BIFF).
The popular light comedy/drama High Kick series will return for a new season of family dilemmas and melodrama starting next year. Like the first two hit series Unstoppable High Kick and the controversial High Kick Through the Roof, the third series will likely feature Lee Soon Jae as the rascally family patriarch, but an otherwise completely new cast and plot.
More sweet eye candy was released in anticipation of the Kim Hyun Joong comeback romance Playful Kiss. See the sugary new teaser video here, and the cool pop art-y posters featuring Kim and Jung So Min here.
May-December romance (or maybe just a hook-up) is the subject of a new photo shoot for Elle magazine, which pairs IRIS‘ T.O.P with K-cougar Lee Mi Sook. The two create a believably steamy couple sneaking off for a nooner even though Lee is more than twice her man’s age!
Lee Byung Hun and Im Soo Jung are this year’s “cinema angels” for Bazaar magazine, which every year creates a mini-charity to boost Korea’s film industry. You can check out some preview pics of the two right here.
Ryoko Hirosue, whom you might remember from Japan’s Oscar-winning Departures, is rumored to have a new romance in her life: candle artist Candle JUNE.
Finally, a few pics of Jang Hyuk attending the opening of an Orobianco bag store and living up to his reputation as a style icon. Jang will return to drama with Secret Garden.
The film will be the opening film for the event, which opens on October 6th and the stars of the film wil be making appearance at the red carpet event.
According to the BIFF committee, “Only You” was selected because “Director Song Il Gon created a film that is not superficial, but is visiaully worthwhile and captures the senses.”
The committee added, “Unlike other usual mellow tearjerker drama films, this film shows the director’s unique restraint and style of deep sadness. ‘Only You’ went beyond to convey emotions that the audience could better relate to.”
“Only You” is about the fate-like love story between Chul Min (So Ji Sup) and Jung Hwa (Han Hyo Joo). The film will be released to the public in October.
