To date, Aragaki has won five Newcomer awards from various award-giving bodies for the roles she played in each of her three 2007 movies Waruboro, Tokyo Serendipity and Koizora/Sky of Love. Aragaki also made her singing debut in 2007. The ballad called Memories, the theme song for Tokyo Serendipity, marked the beginning of her career as a singer, which was included in her debut album Sora, released on December 5. The 2011 Girls' Generation Tour In Singapore Press Conference

The 2011 Girls' Generation Tour in Singapore press conference was held on December 10, a day after the nine young ladies held a successful first night of the sold-out show. After the host DJ Ah Dong from Radio 1003 introduced SNSD onto the stage, Tiffany took the lead to make their formal self-introduction before taking their seats.
Host: How does it feel like to hold your first full-fledged concert here in Singapore?
Tiffany: We’ve been to Singapore a couple of times before our actual show and we've been really looking forward to meeting our Singaporean fans. It was the first show here but we felt such a warm welcome that it felt like we actually performed here more than once time. We are just excited to be here and we hope that it is the first of many shows.
Host: Did you know the tickets for the first night sold out in four hours, and after a petition from fans, there was a second night added, which was also sold out in four hours. So how do you all feel about this?
Seohyun: Even though we've been to Singapore for other events, this is the first time that we are having a full-fledged concert here in Singapore. We really didn't expect such big support from the fans and we are really surprised by all the love and support we got from the fans. We are so happy to be here again.
Host: So how was it last night when you finally performed the song?
Sooyoung: During last night's concert when we were performing the song "The Boys," there was a part where Jessica shouted out "GG" in the intro of the song and all the fans. Practically everyone there, they were following Jessica and singing together with them and we were just exhilarated to enjoy the performance with the fans.
Q: You girls have taken on a very different style in the latest album by trying out rap for the first time in “The Boys.” So would you elaborate on some of the reasons behind this change?
Tiffany: Actually it's not the first time we rapped because the girls have always been interested in hip hop and R&B music and we've always played around with rapping while we were younger as well. So it didn't feel very new but it was very exciting to be able to present it to our fans and to all over the world. Most importantly, I think our group isn't afraid of change or challenge and we enjoy taking on new looks and new experiences so I think that's why our idea and attitude changed.
Q: You guys have a very tight hectic schedule in Korea and in all parts of the world. So how do you guys relieve stress and how do you cope with it?
Sooyoung: In fact, we relieve the stress on the stage itself during the performance because when we are performing, we really enjoy our performances and we really enjoy the interaction we have with the fans. Through these performances and by communicating with the fans, we get the energy and strength to keep moving.
Yuri: Today, we'd just tried ice kachang (red bean ice). It has a very unique flavour and the taste was quite similar to the dish called patbingsoo (Korean shaved ice) in Korea, which we really really enjoyed, and ice kachang was absolutely delicious.
The press conference came to an end and before the girls exited from the stage, Tiffany asked friends from the media to enjoy the show.

Now based in New York, Shanina said other Wyndham residents could one day make it as models as long as they know how to work hard. “The advice I would to give to anyone who is trying to follow in my footsteps and what I have learned is to never doubt yourself, work hard for what you want and never compare. You are unique,” she said.
Shanina said she was still getting over the extreme high of walking the catwalk at one of the biggest fashion events in the world. “When I found out I was selected for VSFS, I was speechless. I was teary eyed. I couldn’t believe that all that I have wanted and worked for was coming true,” she said.

Taecyeon

Taecyeon was born in Seoul, South Korea, but emigrated with his family to Bedford, Massachusetts, where his parents and older sister still currently reside. Taecyeon himself lived there for seven years before returning to pursue his career in Korea. Taecyeon was educated at Gel In High School in Seoul and studied Business Administration at Dankook University.Taecyeon has gotten a physical examination for drafting and received a physical body status sufficient enough to only enlist as public service personnel due to his poor vision and dislocated shoulder back in 2008. However, he is currently thinking of getting another physical examination in order to complete active military duties.
It was his sister who persuaded him to participate in a JYP Entertainment-audition, whose promotion she had noticed when surfing on the internet. After his reluctant agreement to participate, both headed for New York City on his 17th birthday. A week later, he was chosen for the final 35 and finally got the call-back to go to Korea for the further competition. At first, Taecyeon applied to become a model, but the judges suggested him to try to do dancing and singing. He eventually was named one of the dozen finalists (including his future bandmates Junho and Chansung) to compete in the show Superstar Survival, but was the first contestant to leave the show.
The JYP representative stated, “Taecyeon has voiced out thoughts of wanting to enter the military service. He submitted his documents on the 1st and is clear on his actions.” He went on to explain, “Now that Taecyeon wants to enter active duties, he recently received a re-examination. I think he was affected by the recent Yeonpyeong Island shelling, so we want to respect his decision.” He concluded that, “Since Taecyeon is still at a young age, he won’t be entering the military immediately. He is currently active as an actor as well as continuing his studies, so we still need to watch over him.”
On the February 7th, 2011 broadcast of KBS2TV’s “Yeo Yu Man Man,” Taecyeon shared his thoughts on his enlistment situation stating that he plans to get corrective eye surgery so he can enlist. Taecyeon stands 6 ft 1 in (1.85 m) and weighs 76 kg (170 lb; 12.0 st). He speaks English, Korean and Japanese. His hobbies include wakeboarding, skiing, listening to music and cooking.
